In the eleventh lesson we continue learning the undulations, concentrating on the full-body undulations, called "the camel move". I want to remind you to start with the basic
posture as was taught in the first lesson, and also that learning to belly dance over the internet does not constitute an alternative for taking classes with a teacher. Now go have fun!
The music in this lesson is from Yair Dalal & the Alol Ensemble's CD "The Perfume Road", and The song's name is "El Halidg (The Persian Gulf)".You can read about Rsdwan and also buy the CD here.
The belly dance video I wish to introduce today is of a belly dancer I'm sure most of you (if not all of you) already heard of - Rachel Brice. She is famous in promoting the tribal Fusion Belly Dance style, and I chose to add her video to the eleventh lesson so you can see an extraordinary example to body undulations.
The next lesson will be the last one of the basic course. I encourage you to take part in the video lessons project, or if you are a student, tell your belly dance teacher about it and ask her to join. Just think how incredible it can be to have a collection of video lessons by many different teachers, each showing a bit of her specialty! Contact us for more details.
